Sweet Home Chicago

Yesterday I had some business in Chicago so my mom and I took the train down. I really enjoy doing that. I used to do it weekly when I went to college down there. It is so much easier than driving and I can relax and look out the window, read or listen to music or in this case talk to my mom. Very nice. Chicago is a beautiful city - in the summer. In the winter it is pretty too but it is just plain cold then. It has the energy of a big city, with amazing architecture, flowers everywhere, the lake front, Navy Pier, cafes on the sidewalk, the Magnificent Mile, Lake Shore Drive...oh my I could just go on and on. I really like to go down and simply walk around with no specific time frame or destination in mind. I highly recommend you visit Chicago in the summer. There is so much going on!
